Paws to Heaven is a family owned and operated business that provides Water Pet Cremation and In-Home Euthanasia services throughout Greater Brisbane.
As pet owners, we love our four moodles and they form a very important part of our lives. When one of our dogs – Tilly – passed, we were devastated. In our house, the dogs are treated the same as the rest of the family and we grieved her loss terribly.
After Tilly’s passing, the reality of what to do next dawned upon us. Fire cremation did not feel like the appropriate way to farewell our special girl and nor did a burial (as one day we will relocate and it will feel like leaving a family member behind).
We started investigating options on how we could provide a natural and gentle service that deals with the passing of pets and respects their memory. It quickly became apparent that Water Pet Cremation was the alternative we were looking for.

At Paws to Heaven, we understand that saying goodbye to a beloved pet is one of the hardest things a family can go through. Many pet owners find comfort in the thought that their friend lived a wonderful life – they had the happiest days chasing balls in the yard, sticking their heads out of the car window, or curling up on your lap for a nap.

Just over two weeks ago we said our final goodbye to our beautiful Labrador, Boston, and would like to say there are simply not enough words to express how grateful we are to Dr Sarah at Brisbane Pet Farewell and the wonderful team at Paws to Heaven. Saying goodbye to our precious boy was one of the hardest things our family has ever experienced, yet every person we encountered showed us such kindness, compassion, and genuine care. We will always be thankful for the support we received during such a heartbreaking time.
From my very first phone call through to Boston's peaceful farewell at home, Dr Sarah was truly exceptional. Her gentle, calm, and empathetic nature immediately put us at ease. She carefully explained every step of the process, allowing us the time we needed and never making us feel rushed. She treated Boston with the utmost dignity and respect and showed such warmth towards me, my son, and Boston's little sister, Hazel. Knowing our precious boy was in her caring hands gave us enormous comfort and allowed us to focus solely on being with him in his final moments.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the incredible team at Paws to Heaven. From the moment Boston was entrusted to their care, they treated him with professionalism, kindness, and dignity. Their communication was thoughtful, and every detail was handled with such consideration. It was clear they understood that Boston wasn't "just a pet"—he was a deeply loved member of our family. The beautiful keepsakes, including his microchip and everything they did throughout the process have given us something to treasure forever.
A very special thank you to Sharon and Leah for the compassion and understanding they showed our family during such an emotional time. Their kindness meant so much to us. We would also like to sincerely thank Marty for bringing our beautiful boy back home to us. Having Boston returned safely to us was incredibly meaningful, and we are so grateful that he was cared for with such dignity throughout his final journey.
Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing Boston's final journey was surrounded by kindness, dignity, and love from beginning to end. That is a gift our family will never forget.

We recently had to say goodbye to our little dachshund, Milo. He was not just a pet to us. He was our son, and we wanted his final moments to be at home, where he felt safe, loved, and comfortable.
We came across Paws to Heaven and did not have much time, as we needed an appointment that same day. From the beginning, they were kind, understanding, and willing to make a plan for us. Their communication was always prompt, gentle, and filled with empathy.
Dr. Liv came to our home that evening, and her calm and compassionate nature made such a painful moment feel softer. She explained everything clearly, gave us all the time we needed with Milo, and nothing felt rushed. She arrived with a beautiful basket filled with soft blankets and flowers, and even the car was lovingly prepared with a blanket, photos, and flowers. Every detail showed care. She treated Milo and the whole situation with the same tenderness and respect that we would have wanted.
We also ordered the Pawprint Sandstone, and it arrived sooner than expected. It is absolutely beautiful and something we will treasure forever.
When Paw to Heaven came to our home to bring Milo and his certificate back to us, she was also incredibly kind, soft, and genuine. What stood out to us was how our other little dog, who usually barks at strangers and does not easily get close, went straight to her for cuddles and kisses. That told us everything we needed to know about the kind of energy and care they bring into people’s homes.
We are so grateful we chose Paws to Heaven. They made one of the hardest moments of our lives feel more peaceful, personal, and special. Their empathy did not feel like something they were just saying. It was shown in every action, every detail, and every interaction.

Back on the 11th of April 2026, my first cat, my best friend and my support companion Camilla (Kitty) passed away. As it was my first time going through this, Paws to Heaven was recommended to me quite a lot on Facebook and now I can see why.
I'm so greatful to have gone with Paws to Heaven, Sharon and Sarah were so supportive through every step on the way and I can't be anymore more thankful. Highly recommended.
Camilla now has peaceful place of her own and the beautiful necklace with her ashes inside, will always remain close to my heart.

Sharon and her team are true angels and I’m so glad I chose them to care for my greyhound Frankie when he passed. All the staff I interacted with have been extremely kind, empathetic and very supportive under such difficult circumstances. Frankie was so special to me and the Paws to Heaven team treated him with love and respect.
My first contact with Sharon was a few weeks before Frankie passed, I knew the time was coming and I contacted her with a few questions. She was very helpful and allowed me to order my chosen urn in advance and kept this one side.
When the time came to say goodbye to Frankie, I called Sharon and she organised everything for the next morning. The vet, Dr Sarah, was exactly what we needed - incredibly gentle, softly spoken, sympathetic and explained everything she was doing. She was exactly what we needed. I was so grateful that Sarah gave me time and space to hold my beloved boy and at no stage did she rush me. I loved how Sarah interacted with Frankie giving him pats and talking to him. When he was gone Sarah and another lovely Paws to Heaven team member moved Frankie to their car. Even though this was devastating for me, I was comforted by how he had his head on a pillow and a blanket placed over him- I know Frankie would’ve approved of this. He was also able to take his favourite teddy bear with him and when Sharon spoke to me the next day she told me he still had his teddy with him. I was grateful they looked after Frankie’s teddy and I was able to get this back. It was very comforting knowing he wasn’t alone and had his teddy to keep him safe.
I was kept updated by Sharon and whenever I contacted her with a question she was always quick to respond. I collected Frankie from Paws to Heaven last week and his urn, fur, nose and paw prints and the necklace I ordered had been beautifully placed in a room with a calming backdrop, candles and music playing. It was so lovely to have this experience.
I ordered the greyhound urn, paw castings and a necklace with ashes and Frankie’s microchip. I have been impressed with the high quality of all these items and they are things that have brought me comfort.

Saying goodbye to my girl was the hardest day. She was my soul dog, my best friend and the heart of our home.
Kaya absolutely loved the water and spent a lot of her life on the beach and by the creek. When the time came to say goodbye, we wanted to honour her in a way that reflected who she was and choosing a water cremation was the perfect tribute.
From the very first phone call, Sharon and the team treated both Kaya and our family with such warmth and compassion. Every detail from how they handled her to how she was returned was done with so much love.
Knowing that Kaya’s final journey was through something as peaceful and pure as water brought us a sense of comfort, and we are so grateful to Paws to Heaven for helping us say goodbye in such a beautiful, meaningful way. This was one of my first pets to be cremated and I’m so glad that I chose Paws to Heaven. It felt safe and secure giving my passed cat to this company for her to be cremated. I cannot recommend Paws to Heaven highly enough. Loosing a fur baby family member is one of the hardest and most painful times. Sharon made the process of caring for my boy, Calvin much easier than I thought. She was so compassionate and caring. From the first phone call to Paws to Heaven, to the call that Calvin was in their care to bringing him home I felt he was so well cared for until I got him back. Thank you so much Sharon and team for your service I am so grateful for you and you got him back to us so fast. We are so grateful to Sharon and the team at Paws to Heaven. We lost our pup during the night, and initially thought we would wait until the morning. But with each passing moment we were finding it unbearable to leave him overnight so we rang the number and Sharon was at our house within the hour. She was calm and soothing from the moment she arrived. Loosing a beloved dog is such a gut wrenching time and it is a small comfort to know they are in great hands and being treated with the utmost care.
I love that the process is more environmentally friendly and we are very happy with what feels a more gentle way to say goodbye . The memorial box is beautiful and the extra touches on the certificate are something we will forever treasure . Our sincere thanks.

If I could give 10 stars to Paws to Heaven I absolutely would. From the first moment I contacted Paws to Heaven until the final moment I had my beautiful little darling back home with me, the team were nothing but loving, kind, patient, understanding, thoughtful and always completely respectful to both my fur baby and myself.
Sharon from Paws to Heaven went above and beyond throughout the entire process, from arranging the lovely Gail to collect my little fur baby from the vet with no notice after we had to unexpectedly say goodbye to her, to returning our Meg home to us in record time.
Saying goodbye to my little fur baby of 15 years was devastating, but the team at Paws to Heaven brought her back to us in the most beautiful wooden puppy memorial box. The beautiful memorial certificate, which included paw prints and nose prints was beyond special. I also purchased the 'Together Forever' cylinder to keep some of my little sweetheart's ashes in and it is very elegant and good quality.
I can't thank the Paws to Heaven team enough for everything they did for us in our time of need, and highly encourage anyone considering pet cremation to contact Paws to Heaven for water cremation.
